Fecal occult blood/transferrin Test Kit (LFIA)

This product is used for in vitro qualitative determination of hemoglobin and transferrin content in human feces. The daily physiological blood loss of gastrointestinal tract in healthy patients is 0.6ml, and more than 2ml is pathological bleeding. The ratio of hemoglobin and transferrin in blood is 51.2:1, while the ratio of hemoglobin and transferrin in feces is 5.4:1. There are some reasons, such as the degradation or depletion of hemoglobin or red blood cells by digestive enzymes or the pre-lag phenomenon of excess antigen in the reaction system caused by excessive hemoglobin. As a result, approximately 40-50% of patients with upper gastrointestinal bleeding cannot be detected by hemoglobin immunoassay.
