INTENDED USE
IL-6 Quantitative Test Kit is used to quantitatively determine the content of interleukin 6 (IL-6) in human whole blood, plasma, and serum in vitro, and is mainly used to monitor the body's bacterial infection or specific indicators of early diagnosis of sepsis infection, etc.

SUMMARY
Interleukin-6 (IL-6) is currently one of the more widely used inflammatory indicators, which is of clinical value for the diagnosis and development of disease.

PRINCIPLE
This kit uses the immunofluorescence double antibody sandwich method to quantitatively detect the concentrations of interleukin 6 (IL-6) in human whole blood, plasma, and serum samples. After the diluted sample is dropped into the sample hole of the detection kit, interleukin 6 (IL-6) and rare earths in the sample Fluorescence-labeled anti-interleukin 6 (IL-6) monoclonal antibody I binds to form an immune response complex, which moves forward along the nitrocellulose membrane and is affected by the anti-interleukin 6 (IL-6) in the detection area of the nitrocellulose membrane. Monoclonal antibody II captures to form a detection signal. The more analytes in the sample that form the detection signal, the more complexes accumulate on the detection line. The intensity of the fluorescent antibody signal reflects the content of theanalyte captured. After the reaction, the content of the analyte in the sample can be measured by the Supporting Instrument. The rare-earth fluorescent labeled antibody that is not captured in the detection area moves forward along the nitrocellulose membrane, and combines with the quality control antibody in the quality control area to form a quality control signal.
The working principle of the supporting instrument: insert the reacted detection card into the Supporting Instrument, the measurement system of the instrument will automatically scan the detection signal area and the quality control signal area to obtain the optical signal, and then measure and analyze the optical signal , quantify the concentration of IL-6 (pg/ml) in the tested sample.

MAIN COMPONENTS
The kit contains the corresponding number of test cassettes for each package specification: the test cassette consists of a test strip shell and a test strip, which consists of a binding pad (containing fluorescent microsphere-labelled anti-interleukin-6 monoclonal antibody I and fluorescent microsphere-labelled chicken IgY), a nitrocellulose membrane (with a quality control line coated with goat anti-broken chicken IgY antibody, and a detection line coated with anti-interleukin-6 monoclonal antibody II), a sample pad, an absorbent paper, and a PVC plate.
Dilution solution: 0.01 mol/L phosphate, 0.1% preservative, pH=7.4.

SAMPLE REQUIREMENTS
The Sample types with test cassette include human serum, plasma or whole blood samples Whole blood collection: Blood is collected using sodium heparin, EDTA-K2 or sodium citrate anticoagulation tubes, and the collected blood sample is added and shaken well and set aside.
Samples should not be frozen and should be tested as soon as possible after collection. If the test cannot be completed within 12 hours, it should be stored at 2°C to 8°C for no more than 2 days.
Serum or Plasma collection: Serum and plasma should be separated as soon as possible after blood collection to avoid haemolysis. The serum and plasma should be tested as soon as possible after separation, and if the test cannot be completed within 12 hours, stored at 2-8°C for no more than 7 days. Long-term storage should be frozen at -20°C for no more than 6 months. Samples should not be frozen and thawed more than 2 times.
Samples must be returned to room temperature prior to testing. Frozen samples must be completely thawed, mixed and brought back to room temperature before use, and must not be repeatedly frozen and thawed.
